Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Arihant Mills (“we”) collects and uses your information on cottonhandkerchief.in.

1. Information We Collect
We collect your name, delivery address, phone number, email address and order details when you place an order or sign up for updates. If you use our enquiry or job-work forms, we also collect the details you type or upload there (see sections 5 and 6). We collect limited technical data (such as IP address and browser type) through our hosting provider and through analytics (see section 7).

2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to process and deliver orders, send order and tracking updates, issue GST invoices, respond to queries and quote requests, evaluate job-work partners, improve the website, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Payments
We do not collect or store your card, UPI or banking details. Payments are processed securely by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay) on their PCI-DSS compliant systems.

4. Sharing of Information
Order details are shared only with service providers needed to fulfil your order: courier/logistics partners (e.g. Shiprocket), the payment gateway, and our website hosting provider. Form submissions are processed by Cloudflare (website hosting, encrypted storage and spam protection) and Resend (email notifications to us). If you accept analytics cookies, Google (Tag Manager / Analytics) also receives anonymous usage data. We never sell your personal data.

5. Job-Work Partner Application Form
If you apply to work with us as a job-work partner, we collect your name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), location, work details and photos and, only if you choose to give them, your full Aadhaar, PAN, Udyam and GST numbers, copies or photos of those documents, and a visiting card. We use them only to verify you, evaluate you as a partner and contact you about it. We do not share them with anyone else. The application, including ID numbers and documents, is stored encrypted in private storage at Cloudflare and can be opened only by the owner of Arihant Mills. The notification email we receive shows ID numbers masked and never contains documents. ID numbers and ID documents are deleted 90 days after you apply unless we start working with you; the rest of the application is deleted after 1 year. You apply on the basis of your consent, shown by ticking the consent box on the form, and you can withdraw it at any time using our data request form: cottonhandkerchief.in/data-deletion/ (see section 9).

6. Bulk Quote Request Form
If you request a bulk quote, we collect your business contact details (your name, business name, WhatsApp number, city and state, and your email if you give it) and what you tell us about your order (products, approximate quantity, message). If you choose to fill in the optional details, we also collect your business type, GST number, website or social media link, product, branding, packaging and delivery preferences, and any artwork, logo or reference files you upload. We use this only to prepare and send you a quote, to follow up, and to decide which requests we can price first; we do not use it for automated decisions about you, and every request gets a reply. It is stored encrypted in private storage at Cloudflare, sent to us by email through Resend (files are not attached), not shared with anyone else, and deleted after 1 year (365 days), or earlier if you ask us (see section 9).

6A. Job Applications (Work at Arihant)
If you apply for a job or internship at Arihant Corporation through our application form, we collect your name, WhatsApp number, city, the position, your experience and skills, and (only if you give them) your email, current or last employer, expected salary, education, a LinkedIn or portfolio link, a short note and your resume. We use them only to consider you for a job and to contact you about it. The application and resume are stored encrypted in private storage at Cloudflare, can be opened only by the owner of Arihant Mills, are also emailed as a copy to the mailbox of the owner of Arihant Mills of the application through Resend (the resume is never attached, it stays in private storage), are not shared with anyone else, and are deleted 1 year (365 days) after you apply, or earlier if you ask us (see section 9).

7. Cookies and Analytics
The site itself needs no cookies to browse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures page views without cookies and without tracking you across sites. We also use Google Tag Manager (container GTM-T2Z93H4S) for analytics, but only after you click Accept on the cookie banner; nothing from Google is loaded before that or if you click Decline. Your choice is remembered in your browser (local storage) and you can change it by clearing the site data in your browser. Checkout (on our shop checkout pages) may use cookies for the cart to function.

8. Data Retention
Order and invoice records are retained as required under Indian tax law. Form data is kept for the periods stated in sections 5 and 6. Backups and email copies are deleted along with the application when you ask us to delete it.

9. Your Rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete your data, or withdraw your consent, at any time using our data request form: cottonhandkerchief.in/data-deletion/. If the form is unavailable, email arihantmills@gmail.com with your name and WhatsApp number. We verify your identity by contacting you on WhatsApp (we never ask for ID documents to do this) and complete your request within 30 days. If you believe your data has been mishandled you can also complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

10. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational precautions to protect your information: forms are protected against spam and abuse, uploaded documents are encrypted before storage, and access is restricted to the owner through a protected admin area.

11. Children
Our forms are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Last updated: 24 October 2026.
